Mr. Uttiya Bakshi Abir is the current Executive Director at IFAD, having commenced his career with the organization in 1986. With a remarkable and extensive service history at IFAD, he holds the esteemed position of being the organization’s most senior employee. He completed his M.Sc. in Statistics in 1977. Before joining IFAD, he served as an Executive at Parijat Enterprises Ltd., a subsidiary of the Goldhill and Nippon Group. At IFAD, he began his journey as an Assistant Manager, where he has since made significant contributions to the organization.
