Taskeen Ahmed serves as Group Vice Chairman (ii). He received a Bachelor of Business Management from Independent University of Bangladesh and Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA. At Bangladesh's North South University, he also pursued an MBA.
He began working with Ashok Leyland, which today provides the bulk of trucks, buses, and light cargo vehicles on the market, through IFAD Autos Ltd. in 1999. Under his leadership, the company's car sales over the previous ten years had expanded tenfold, and it now sells more than 3000 units yearly. This rise is attributed to his creation of aggressive sales methods, customer-friendly lending facilities, and a strong credit recovery system, which have elevated IFAD Autos Ltd to the top of the capital market since its IPO in 2014.
Mr. Taskeen was the president of the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry in November 2015 (IBCCI). He is now the director of DCCI
